IGNOMINY

One thought we can’t cry
when the bad things they
uttered about us haven’t
yet pierced the innermost
parts of our own hearts
& cold-like-Pepsi minds.

Allied with the devil and
its alter ego, they fought
in tandem to make sure
that this house falls on
the granular of solitude.

They - with their insidious
arms, frightening knives,
perfidious eyes, violent
guerrilla, terrific scent &
bulletproof vests - have
lunched their deplorable
attack on our pleasurable
baobab tree of joyful birds.
