& the soundtrack
of the mortar that
pounds the leaves
of mango tree...
With the innocent eyes
of the crying children
squeezing their bodies,
the sun now appears
to appease their nights
of hunger &
days of sorrow.
Who’ll cleanse all their
tears of loneliness?
Who’ll come to their rescue?
